Whispering Oaks Ranch
Purchased as 33 acres of raw land in fall of 2002, Our dreams are coming true.
On May 6, 2006
we tied the knot.
On our hill top,
next to the
Oak Tree that
bares the name
of our farm.
For on a warm spring day, there was a still in the air and all you could hear
was the whisper of the mighty oak tree and the land was named, Whispering Oaks Ranch.
Our love is for each other,
the land we call home and our 4 legged kids.
Miles, Runner, Honey, Maxie, Abby,
Bucky, Mic, Red, Misty, Rain,
Bear, Jazzy, Callie, Blue & Puffy.
JoAnn has always had horses in her life, from
winning her first trophy at the age of 4, to ten
years of showing in 4-H., and endless Pinto
and Paint Shows.
In 1996 she purchased a six month old colt
which she named "FWR Invaders Image" barn
name "Miles" from a breeder in North Dakota.
Together with her family MaryAnn & Dave
Williams of Flying -W- Ranch and friends.
Miles and JoAnn achieved many goals,
earning over 600 performance points,
4 high point show awards and a
national championship in 2001.
Together,
our goal is to breed the all around horse.
With FWR Invaders Image as our leading sire
we plan to breed horses with the conformation, disposition and bloodlines that can
perform in the show ring in halter, english and western and also make great companions on the trail.

John, a former city boy found the love for
horses from some great friends and a horse
named "Topaz".  John showed Topaz for
several years before buying his first horse
"Wild Runner".
Together John and Runner would travel
many miles and bring home lots of ribbons,
earning several ROM's along the way.
While working for a company of 2000 employees
John & JoAnn meet.
John had a picture in his office that was the show
grounds that JoAnn frequently showed at.  Which
later became the same show they both showed at.

A friendship grew,
which later became a partnership
and then a marriage.
